On holiday

The weekend is finally here! I'm off to Perth and into the arms of the husband soon. Simply can't wait. *silly smile*

Breaking the silence

I have not beeped for a week! Work had been crazy. The husband has flown off to Perth ahead of me. Caught up with many of my half read books. Caught up with friends over dinners and lunches. Helped mum baked her ration of pineapple tarts *salivating*. And am now looking forward to flying off to reunite with hubby, hanging out at cafes in Subi and overdozing ourselves with rich Margaret River cheeze, wines and homemade chocolates.

I simply cannot wait for this week to end!!!!! wwweeeeeeee!!!!

Bday picnics and moonlight cinemas…..

.. are a perfect combination on a beautiful summer day. And that’s exactly what the husband and I and a bunch of friends did last Saturday.

We played silly games that involved people running around trees waving their hands like lunatics (don’t kill me for posting this Damo hehe..). Stuffed ourselves silly with pies and tarts and delicious chicken wraps. And settled in for a cool night of Casino Royale under the stars drooling over Daniel Craig’s impeccable abs (come on guys… admit it.).

It was great fun.

Girly night out and a not too jolly cat

So last Friday. A bunch of friends and I got together for a girly night out of jazzed up vietnamese, ice-cream, giggles, and lots of laughs. It is sooOOooOOooo nice to be able to just hang out and talk about everything and nothing. We eventually managed to tear ourselves apart and headed home just before we turn into little pumpkins.

By the time I got home. The husband was already half asleep and the house felt absolutely peaceful. Except for Salem who kept following me around with a half unapproved, half sobby stare. *haha*

So. Yesterday was my birthday. *beam* And the husband brought me out to the city for a nice simple dinner. Choice of cuisine is yet again our fav Japanese. But this time round, we treated ourselves to a pricier restaurant. *eep*
